As I fast approach 40 years of age (December this year) I realise I am at my heaviest ever weight. Just weighed myself at 95kg (near enough 15 stone).
My future would definitely be improved by shedding a few kilos. In fact I would like to get back to 75kg, the weight I was when I met my wife about 4 years ago.
Over the years I have battled with my weight and been on pretty much every diet going. I've also owned just about every type of exercise equipment too.
I'm hoping that blogging about my weight loss efforts will encourage me to stick to healthy eating and lots of exercise. It's going to be pretty embarrassing coming on here to tell everyone I've put on weight!
So I have to bin the cakes and chocolate, cut down on my portion size and visit the gym more often (or perhaps go running again).
I'm not setting myself a limit time-wise, I want it to be a slow process so hopefully I won't put it all back on again (assuming I lose any in the first place!).
Just got my wife to measure my waist around the belly button. It's worse than I thought - 46 inches. All this fat around the gut is the worst
kind, a definite health risk, so I need to get started asap.
I'm also thinking about using some weight loss products as an extra aid. Lipobind seems to be advertised on TV whenever I switch it on so I may give it a try. Anyone had any experience (good or bad) with this type of product? If I do decide to buy any I will let you know how it goes.
OK, I'm off now for a big glass of water and maybe I'll get the Wii out for some boxing now my little boy has gone to bed.
